Each year, our Annual Employee Appreciation Cookout gives us an opportunity to bring the entire JPS team together, step away from the jobsite and office, and celebrate the people who make JPS Construction and Design what it is.

Last Friday, the JPS team gathered at Kempenaar’s Clambake Club in Middletown for an evening of great food, drinks, raffles, activities, and time spent with coworkers, friends, and family. As our company continues to grow, events like our annual cookout are an important reminder that JPS is built on the hard work and dedication of our entire team. From our crews in the field and project management teams to design, administration, and everyone working behind the scenes, each person plays an important role in the work we do throughout Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts.

This year’s cookout also gave us another opportunity to support the JPS Employee Relief Fund through our raffles and silent auction. Employees and their families had the chance to win some incredible prizes, including Red Sox and Patriots tickets, along with a variety of items generously donated by our vendors and local business partners.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed a prize or helped support the event. Their generosity helped make the raffles and silent auction a success, with proceeds benefiting the JPS Employee Relief Fund and its mission of supporting members of our team when they need it most.

Our employees also brought canned goods and other donations to the cookout, which will be distributed to local food banks and organizations serving our community.

Most importantly, we want to thank the entire JPS team and their families for joining us and making this year’s cookout another memorable one. We’re fortunate to have a hardworking group of people representing JPS every day, and we appreciate everything they do to help our company continue to grow and succeed.
