We were thrilled to host a group of curious and enthusiastic students from the Bristol-Warren School District this week as part of their field trip to learn about the basics of construction and design. It was a fantastic opportunity to give the next generation a behind-the-scenes look at the work we do every day—and maybe even spark some future careers in the trades! Our team guided them through various presentations that showcased different aspects of the construction and design process. Our project managers, designers, and architects were on hand to explain their roles and answer tons of great questions.
Introducing students to construction/design at a young age opens their eyes to the wide range of careers in the industry—from skilled trades to engineering, project management, and beyond. With the construction sector facing a skilled labor shortage nationwide, it’s more important than ever to connect with young people and show them the rewarding opportunities available.
We’re proud to play a small role in their education and to support hands-on, real-world learning outside the classroom.
